We highly recommend Al's Limestone. We got them in firstly to do a curved retaining wall near our patio in Glen Forrest. They did such a professional neat job and in such a timely manner. They were such nice tradesmen to deal with from start to end. A short time later we were so pleased with the work they had previously done for us that we got them back to put in a retaining wall on our boundary line. Once again, extremely please with the work they had done. We could not fault them. They prices were extremely reasonable. Al’s Limestone were contracted to create two terrace walls, a retaining wall for an in-ground pool, garden bed borders around a fire pit and retaining around a horse arena. The natural ground level significantly drops away from the house pad, to make these tasks a mammoth effort. The job was an extra-large one, each component with its challenges. Septics needed to be avoided, the ground level was all over the place in almost all areas and to make things more difficult our visual plan for the fire pit area was not clearly defined. Al and his team found solutions for all of these issues, communicating with us at every step, resulting in a stunning job that we are very happy with. His team were friendly, while Al himself always provided progress updates, discussed challenges and let us know if a day off/ additional day of work was planned. Al’s attention to detail adds to the pleather of reasons why we would 100% recommend Al and his team to our friends for limestone retaining or creative landscaping.
